SAP SCM Consultant (MM/SD/PP/PM)
Location: TX-Houston

Duration: : 12-months

Job Description:

 

Gathering of requirements; Process Design; Functional Design of Interfaces and any necessary customizations; Applications Configuration; Application Testing; Reporting into Client Management

1) Requirements Gathering –
a. Gather requirements from various stakeholders of the project and document them in the available format.
b. Should be able to ask good and relevant questions in order to get the maximum requirements out of the clients.
c. Should be able to draft out various use cases and document the same.
d. Should have good written skills in drafting these requirement documents and be able to present them to the client.
e. Knowledge of Software development life cycle
2) Functional Support –
a. Support various Technology applications from a functional perspective and be the prime contact for these applications.
b. Good Industry Supply chain skills will be added advantage and aid these responsibilities.
c. Should be able to prioritize various activities without impacting the deliverables
3) SAP testing
a. Write and suggest test cases and perform functional testing
b. Should have knowledge in either of the SAP Supply chain modules such as MM/SD/PP/PM in order to start working on SAP AMI and or provide test functionalities to the SAP AMI team.
4) Application Testing –
a. Liaise with the testing team to co-ordinate and facilitate the application testing
b. Review and suggest test cases provided by the Testing team.
c. Independently perform business case testing before handing the application to UAT.
