Position: Oracle DBA
Location: Indianapolis, IN
Length: 6 month
Required:
- 6+ years managing Oracle RDBMS; 4+ years with Oracle 11g in a mature, enterprise environment
- Capacity planning and workload management
- Performance management and tuning
- Install and configure database environments, and execute database patching process
- Architect databases for highly available environments including RAC and DataGuard
- Architect databases for multi-data center environments
- Implement and administer operational requirements, including backup, monitoring and alerting
- Implement security and audit requirements including PCI, SOX and HIPPA
- Demonstrate strong adherence to documentation and IT functional processes
- Work with internal technical resources on project implementations and resolve business and technical issues
Strongly Preferred:
- Oracle database administration for packaged, Oracle applications including (in order of priority):
o Siebel Marketing, Loyalty, Analytics
o Oracle Retail Suite
o Oracle SOA Suite
o Product / Customer Hub
o PeopleSoft Finance
- Relevant functional experience including Retail, Supply Chain or Finance
- Test data management
- Oracle Exadata hardware platform
