Last 3 years:

Having delivered End to End SharePoint 2010 Collaboration and Content Management Portal Roadmap, Requirements, Architecture and Implementation Experience as a Lead Solution Architect. At least 2-3 major SharePoint 2010 projects delivered.

Experience in Delivering ( as Lead Architect) SharePoint/Related project in Agile Methodology

            Prior to 3 years (at least 3-4 years):

Technical / Design Lead on SharePoint 2007 or ASP.NET projects (2-3)

Customer facing / consulting engagements (2-3)

Technical/Functional Skills:

Technical Skills and Knowledge:

-        Architecture/Design/Solutioning skills on SharePoint 2010

-        Breadth and Depth of knowledge on SharePoint 2010 product features – especially social computing, collaboration and Web/ECM features

-        Knowledge of customization/development best practices on SharePoint

-        Architecture/Design skills on ASP.NET (nice to have)

-        Awareness of SharePoint 2013 product features, architecture, key enhancements over SharePoint 2010, migration strategy from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013

-        Portal Roadmap, Requirements, Architecture and Implementation Experience

-        Experience on SharePoint Information Architecture, Governance and Capacity Planning

-        Experience with Identity Management Solutions on SharePoint

Soft Skills:

-        Outstanding communication, analytical and  decision making/influencing abilities maintaining a proactive/balanced attitude

-        Ability to interact effectively with business and IT stakeholders, translate business and non-functional requirements and level set expectations

-        Mentor and guide development teams on best practices

Experience Required: 11+Years

As stated in Technical/Functional/Soft Skills+

Delivered End to End SharePoint 2010 Collaboration and Content Management Portal Roadmap, Requirements, Architecture and Implementation Experience as a Lead Solution Architect

-        At least 2-3 major SharePoint 2010 projects collectively spanning up to 3 years overall)

Engaged in exploratory / POC work on SharePoint 2013 with sufficient breadth of knowledge across key areas such as social computing, collaboration, search and web content management, information architecture, capacity planning, security aspects and migration strategy from SharePoint 2010 to SharePoint 2013

Roles & Responsibilities:

 

-        Interact effectively with business and IT stakeholders

-        Optimally translate business and non-functional requirements into SharePoint solutions

-        Guide and influence critical decisions/best practices around architecture and design

-        Level set solution expectations/constraints with business

-        Guide the overall capacity planning working closely with infrastructure teams

-        Define and help enforce the overall governance model and framework

-        Guide the overall information architecture, content management and customizations/development decisions

-        Mentor development teams on best practices around customization, security, performance and deployment

-        Proactively escalate matters of technical criticality to seek early resolution

-        Work collaboratively and pro-actively with all key stakeholders providing transparency/escalation as needed

-        Mentor and guide development teams on best practices
