Job Title: Technical Architect / DBA
Location: Stamford , CT
Duration: 6 months
Experience Required: 6+ years
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsibilities:
1. DBA and Database Architecture Skills in both Oracle and SQL Server environments. Exposure to Oracle EBS (R12 preferred) extremely helpful.
2. Exposure to OBIEE Environment, specifically architectural and infrastructure needs
3. T-SQL and SQL Server 2008 R2 experience. T-SQL development skills. . Including T-SQL code debugging and query optimization.
4. SQL Server Analysis Services 2008 R2 experience. (Nice to have)
5. Technical Architecture infrastructure skills, performance testing, disk capacity, etc.
6. Understanding of virtualization for both Servers and Desktops in order to understand implications of architecture in these environments.
7. Experience in configuration and troubleshooting of physical and VM server implementations. Including understanding security implications and network challenges in configuring complete environments for software development (Application, Web and Database servers).
8. Previous experience as a developer.
9. Familiar with defect tracking & deployment.
10. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; will be required to directly interface with all levels of management and end users.
11. Experience working on at least one enterprise wide reporting system for at least six months. (Cognos Preferred).
