My mail is regarding a job opportunity of a Project Manager to work onsite at Montgomery College in Rockville, MD for a minimum of a year assignment. MUST have experience managing application deployments (package or new build) and has managed a project at a university or school system (ie, city of Chicago or some other city).

SCOPE OF SERVICES BEING REQUESTED:

Montgomery College is seeking an experienced and proven project manager who possesses in-depth experience implementing enterprise wide applications in complex organizations. The project manager must possess excellent communication skills, change and business process management, and have the ability to facilitate meetings with clients- technical and functional staff, and senior leadership. This position requires experience in applying the project life cycle, developing the project management plan and related component plans, keeping the project on track in terms of schedule and budget, identifying, monitoring and responding to risk and providing accurate and timely reporting of project metrics. The project manager must be experienced in application deployment in an educational setting and preferably have experience in PM for large scale enterprise application deployment.

EDUCATION:

• Bachelor's degree

• A PMP certification is preferred

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:

• This position requires five years successfully leading complex enterprise application deployment projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Vendor must provide a weekly status report to the College which will detail work performed during all billed activity hours, progress towards project milestones, summaries or key findings from the interviews, and identified issues which may impact the project.

• Vendor must provide all plan documentation in digitized form, to include but not necessarily limited to the following file types: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, PDF, html, image files (gifs, jpgs, psds), audio files, and video files. Final copies of the report and any associated electronic presentation materials will be provided to the College in both digital and hard copy format. All documentation will be provided in an editable format.

• All documentation that Vendor provides to the College will become the property of Montgomery College.
