Title: SSRS Resource with Hyperion Exp.
Location: Tulsa, OK
Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:

· Expertise in SQL Server 2012 reporting using Oracle Hyperion Essbase

· Accessing Hyperion Essbase (data source) for Report Creation

· Develop reports - Report Builder using Essbase

· SSRS reporting using Essbase

o Demonstrating (in Williams' MS BI POC lab) common and advanced examples of how MS BI components (SSRS) can display data from Essbase. Examples to include: SSRS's ability to create interactive/filtered, drill/drop-down tabular reports/ Graphs.

· Essbase Excel Add-In and SmartView

· Develop Smart View services (common Microsoft Office interface for Hyperion)

· Demonstrate to Williams' BI staff how XMLA or MDX needs to be refined/written to successfully bring back data from Essbase –or – where XMLA/MDX is 'unique' to Essbase

· Document where limitations exist between Essbase and the MS BI stack. E.g. where features of Essbase's cube design cannot be overcome using out-of-the-box MS BI tools

· Consult with Williams BI team and sharing alternatives to integrate Essbase and MS BI (SQL Server 2012)
