Position: Network Engineer
Location: New York City, NY (ONLY Locals NJ/NY/PA )
Duration: 4-5 months

We are looking for an engineer with hands on experience in implementation and troubleshooting of various routing protocols such as EIGRP, BGP and MPLS .Also would expect candidate to have fairly good Knowledge on Multicasting."
Position Overview
This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of the team that is responsible for implementing and supporting complex WAN environment which runs on a carrier class environment in an enterprise setting providing end to end delivery to the customers spread across the world. This fast-paced environment will challenge your knowledge of BGP, MPLS, Multicasting, QOS, Cisco hardware, Cisco IOS and other complex network technologies.
Exposure to Juniper is beneficial • Good knowledge and hands-on experience with routing protocols like EIGRP,OSPF BGP and working Knowledge in MPLS • Hands-on experience with Cisco 2811, 7600, 6500, 7200,ASR platforms.
Essential Responsibilities
Ø Network Engineer should have a Minimum of 5+ year's experience ideally working in a carrier network or a large enterprise network in an engineering, or implementation role. Good knowledge and hands-on experience with routing protocols like EIGRP,OSPF BGP and working Knowledge in MPLS
Ø Hands-on experience with Cisco 2811, 7600, 6500, 7200, ASR platforms.
Ø Knowledge of carrier technologies such as Ethernet services, point to multipoint connectivity as well as the ability to work with carriers for troubleshooting purposes
Ø Handles calls from the Client interfacing group in a timely manner.
Ø Takes part and own end-to-end implementation projects.
Ø Takes part in creating and updating documentation
Ø Experience in ASA and VPN technologies
Ø Making sure all the related documentation is processed correctly and up to date.
Ø Cleary and concisely communicates to the customers.
