Client is looking for MS-SQL Database Admin/ Developer – Los Angeles, CA.  This is Contract position. Client needs 2 to 4 contractors

 

Experience:

• The following experience is desired for this role:
• 3-5 years as a DBA and/or Microsoft BI data administrator.
• Demonstrated experience working with business and technical teams to determine data approaches required supporting business solutions.
• Experience with Microsoft SSAS Cubes/Tabular modeling and SSIS package creation and data integration with SQL Server is required.
• Experience working with large data repositories is desired.
• Experience with Microsoft DAX and RDL is a plus.

·         Experience in working as a SQL DBA

·         VM Ware and SANS experience

·         Experience with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies (SDLC)

·         Experience in SQL report generation

• Demonstrated experience with creation/maintenance of source data stores.
• Demonstrated ability to trouble shoot and support business intelligence applications.
• Ability to manage multiple data projects is required.
• Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and business teams is required.

                                                              

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND TECHNOLOGY SKILLS

•         Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Technology (and/or equivalent experience).

•         Application architecture and design

•         Strong expertise (6+ years) in SQL Server 2000, 2005, and 2008 R2

•         Proven troubleshooting abilities.

•         SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
SQL XML, Management Studio

•         Database Auditing and controls

•         Strong understanding of Security implementation.

•         Strong knowledge of Windows 2000, 2003, and 2008.

•         Strong knowledge of SQL and Stored Procedure Language.

•         Strong knowledge of relational database concepts.

•         SQL Server performance management and tuning

 

Programming skills:

•         .Net 3.5 or 4.0, MVC Pattern Design

•         Dynamic HTML, XHTML, XML, Ajax and CSS

Development Tools: Visual Studio.NET/20080 Ultimate/2010
