Job Title: Storage Engineer
Location: Boston, MA
Duration: 6+ Months
Data Storage Administrator will act as a technical lead and be responsible for the transition phase of Datacenter relocation and tasks relating to Storage Array configurations, Storage allocations, Storage Replication, and SAN administration at our various target Data Center locations. This includes the setup and configuration of EMC arrays and EMC/Brocade SAN Directors. It also includes configuring system components, on-going maintenance and addressing Storage and SAN issues 7x24. This individual will be part of a team that includes mid-level and Sr. Engineers primarily focused on Storage design, implementation and support. This individual will also be responsible for NAS charge-back and the software/tools necessary to generate such.
Ø 5+ years' experience Storage and SAN Administration.
Ø Experience with HP and Solaris 10 & 11, Red Hat RHE5 & 6, 2003, 2003 x64, 2008 servers
Ø Experience with ESX Blade Servers
Ø Experience in provisioning, maintenance, troubleshooting of enterprise storage systems
Ø Experience with EMC VMAX, DMX, VNX, and Celerra arrays
Ø Experience with EMC Unified Data Protection, SRDF, and Timefinder for Disaster Recovery
Ø Experience with EMC/Brocade SAN DCX-8510B Directors and zoning
Ø Experience with Sharepoint a plus
Ø Experience working in an Enterprise corporate datacenter environment
Ø SQL, Oracle, DB2, Oracle DataGuard experience a plus
Ø Very Good documentation skills
Ø Strong understanding of network topologies related to server infrastructure
Ø Ability to prioritize and work within constraints of strictly controlled change management infrastructure
Ø Certification a plus
Ø On call rotation required
