Description:
The Technical Architect (down state) will have responsibility for the technical operational aspects of the New York Health Benefit Exchange (NY-HX) related to down state activities. This includes all hardware, software and technical infrastructure in support of the design, development and implementation of the NY-HX. Specific duties include:
Ø Reviewing and evaluating technical specification; UNIX/WebSphere/Java SKILLS
Ø Ensuring compliance with business objectives and down state requirements;
Ø Assist with change control over the NY-HX configuration;
Ø Supervise / manage project vendor / system integrator;
Ø Ensures functionality is integrated with other applications;
Requirements:
Ø A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Bachelor's degree
Ø At least 60 months of professional work experience in the Information Technology field.
Ø At least 60 months providing written and oral reports in a business environment. A sample written report may be requested.
Ø At least 60 months professional experience in Information Technology supporting / managing / directing medium to large infrastructure deployments and environments.
Ø At least 60 months professional experience in assisting with design, development, and implementation of medium to large infrastructure deployments and environments.
Ø At least 60 months professional experience in reviewing and evaluating technical specifications for compliance with business objectives and requirements
