Position: Android Developer

Location: Bloomington or Chicago, IL

Duration: 6-12 months

 

Primary skills

Should be knowledge of Android SDK, Framework, Native API. 

 

Here are some high level inputs on skills

Excellent knowledge of the Android SDK

Knowledge of XML and JSON a requirement

Knowledge of SqlLite and a working experience in SQL or relevant databases

Knowledge of HTML and Javascript

Coding standards, organizational programming skills

 

Our Client Requirement Below

The Impaired Driver Alert application uses a smartphone camera to monitor facial features to detect drowsiness. The Computer Vision Programmer will work with one of our developers to complete an android application that can go to market.

There are currently 2 versions of Impaired Driver Alert developed by two different CV programmers.  They consist of similar concepts; however both have problems that need to be addressed.  The first role of the CV will be to review the code and/or concept of each version and determine which one will have the most success in the market.

From there, the CV will work with us to refine and test the code to eliminate as many problems as possible.  We may need to upload thousands of images for the program to compare eyes closed or eyes open.
