1. Installation and configuration of BusinessObjects XI R2 SP6, FP6.4, with Tomcat 5.5
2. Architecture / Design activities in Business Object environment

Must-Have Skills
• Installation and configuration of BusinessObjects XI R2 SP6, FP6.4, with Tomcat 5.5
• Migration of the BusinessObjects environment from the BusinessObjects XI R2 SP4, FP 4.8 with Tomcat 5.0 to BusinessObjects XI R2 SP6, FP6.4 with Tomcat 5.5
• Redesigning the architecture to support redundancy and scalability
• Review of BusinessObjects security framework
• Testing of BusinessObjects reports
• Excellent Client communication and documentation skills

Background Architecture /Design in SAP Business Objects
Others Experience on working with US client
SN Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
1 Driving overall technical solution for the migration
2 Lead technical solutioning activities of all migration phases.
3 Coordinating with Client project manager and solution team, Offshore Developer, SAP Support to ensure effective resolution of bugs / defects during Upgrade /migration
JD for Architect :-
• Full understanding of a clustered BI4 Architecture-VM servers a plus
• Experience in designing and directing the implementation of BI environment.
• Strong experience with LCM(Lifecycle Manager) and implementation in a clustered environment.
• AD/SSO Configuration skills
• Experience with customization of the BI4 web interface and customized templates
• Experience with report/universe migration from XIr2 to BI4 and how to overcome pitfalls.
• Strong knowledge of networking technology needed for the Architecture role.
• Ability/Experience in creating, directing and performing performance testing
• High level of knowledge in the BI4 security model and the differences between XI2 and BI4
• Understand how to migrate QQAWS connections to the new BI4 embedded technology
Nice to have:
Mastery of BI and understanding of where the technology is headed. Knowledge of Big Data concepts, Xcelsius, Data Federation
Expertise as well in the profiles :-
• BI4.0 Upgrade from XIR2SP2 greater.
• BI4.0 Upgrade Management Tool
• BI4.0 Lifecycle Management Tool
• BI4.0 Customization skills-url, homepage, report templates
• Full understanding of the BI4.0 UNV, QAAWS and Open Document migration
