AIX Administrator/System Analyst

Location – Austin, TX

Project Term – 9 Months

Max Pay Rate: $55/hr C2C All Inclusive,

Worker will work on the design, configuration and optimization of existing and new enterprise AIX/Power infrastructure and systems.

Expert-level knowledge/experience with installation, administration, tuning, performance and maintenance of enterprise AIX/Power architecture, infrastructure and systems including LPARs, NIM, PowerVM, VIOS, HMC, LVM, LPM, MPIO, VLAN, SVC, security and related enterprise-grade technology knowledge necessary for highly available, redundant systems.  Strong working-knowledge of IBM enterprise storage technologies including SAN Volume Controllers and DS-series disk systems is necessary.

Requirements:

• 8 years' experience in installation/administration of AIX in an enterprise environment
• 5 years' experience  in installation/administration of IBM enterprise storage (SVC, DS8xxx)
•  IBM Certified Advanced Technical Expert - AIX" and/or "Certified Systems Expert – AIX" (or clearly demonstrable equivalent experience/knowledge)

 

Preferred:

•  5 years' experience in Cisco SAN fabric knowledge
