Title: Sr. .NET Application Support Consultant
Location: Long Island City, NY
Duration: 6+ Months

SCOPE OF SERVICES
• Obtain expert level technical knowledge of the application, including system architecture, database schema, application specific web services and integration points with external systems to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Work closely with users to troubleshoot and investigate reported issues. The issues may range from UI, Interfaces, and Databases to exchange of electronic messages with internal and external systems.
• Configure application features using the design and configuration tools.
• Manage the testing and deployment of new core product releases from the application vendor.
• Be responsible for managing the release build process, including bug resolution and determining the features to be included in each build. Support and maintain the multiple application environments (Development, Quality Assurance, Staging and Production) required for software fixes and new features to be developed, tested and approved for use in the production system.
• Be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating end-user support requests.
• Coordinate user training for new features.
MANDATORY SKILLS/EXPERIENCE Note: candidates who do not have the mandatory skills will not be considered.
Candidates should have experience with the following concepts/ technologies:
• A scripting language such as Jscript or JavaScript
• MS SQL
DESIRABLE SKILLS/EXPERIENCE : -
• Experience configuring applications
• .NET
• IIS deployments and configuration
• SSRS
• Providing high quality technical support to super users and end users
