Description :
8+ yrs of IT, 3+ yrs in Ruby or Python, 4+ in a Linux environment (Redhat, CentOS)
Strong understanding of programming concepts, Web development, back-end development, data-structures, OOAD, etc
Developing Automation tools for operations/management and monitoring of a complex 24x7 multi-media environment consisting of 100s of Linux servers
Ability to write automation scripts to read files, updates databases (using SQL), build user-interfaces, etc
Experience automating configuration management processes using Puppet, Chef, etc.
Strong experience with Linux, shell-scripting in Linux, virtual-machines
Experience with MySQL will be a plus
Experience with one or more BigData/NoSQL databases such as Cassandra, MongoDB and MapReduce will be a plus
Proven experience in developing for scalable, high-performance server applications
Bachelors or Masters in Computer Science or equivalent engineering experience
