Title: Oracle DBA
Location: CA-Santa Clara (LOCALS Highly Preferred)
Start date: ASAP
Duration: 3-4 Months Contract with Extension
Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
1) A degree in Computer Science/IT/MIS/CIS or related feild.
2) At least 5 years of experience in Oracle E-business Suite Administration (11i) on Solaris.
3) Strong Oracle Database Administration( 10g, 11g) experience on Solaris/Linux and windows operating systems
4) Thorough knowledge of the Oracle Applications Framework, architecture, and technology stack and application cloning methodology.
5) Experience in installation, Patching, configuration and support of 24/7 production databases.
6) Experience with Oracle Discoverer (10g) Deployment and upgrades
7) Experience in Hot/cold backup mechanisms using Netapps storage and snapshot clone concepts.
8) Experience in configuring high availability environments using Oracle Data guard and recovery procedures. Having Disaster Recovery (DR) architecture experience is a big plus.
9) Experience in E-business suite performance tuning and Using Oracle Grid Control (OEM).
10) Oracle certification(s) preferred.
Responsibilities:
1) Production and end user support primarily to Singapore, China, India, Europe and Israel
2) Support and Maintain Databases, Application Servers and Middleware.
3) Off hours and Weekend Maintenance Activity
4) Support to Off site Vendors
5) Support the projects running at Marvell Semiconductor, Inc, primarily , but not limited to the below
6) Contract Lifecycle Management
7) Data Warehouse Support Activities
8) ERP Finance - Sweden and India Localization
9) HRIS Fusion Implementation
10) OBIEE(Oracle Business Intelligence)
11) Disaster Recovery
12) Supply Chain Management, JDA
13) Revenue and Pricing, Model N
14) TIBCO B2B and Integrations
