Title: Java Python Developer
Location: Roseland, NJ
Duration: 6 Months+
Interview: Phone screening first, followed by a Skype or f2f
Required: Java Python developer that has some experience with data
Coding: python, java, c/c++, or other
Solid background with databases: Oracle, MySQL, DW appliances (Teradata, Netezza, Greenplum)
Data Warehousing Concepts
Experience or interest in clusters: Hadoop, Hadoop streaming, map/reduce,hive, scm, hdp, pig, mahout, madlib.
Experience data wrangling/etl
OSes: Linux, Unix
Interest or experience in collaborative filtering, clustering, regression analysis, machine learning, nlp, algorithms
Internet data sources, Jason, XML, bson
Intuition about data and data mash-ups
Work well independently or in groups
Not afraid to work complex/seemingly intractable problems
Able to communicate effectively with others.
