Position: Network Engineer
Location: Richmond, VA
Duration: 6+ months
(Locals Needed Inperson Required)
Must Haves:
Entry Level Network experience (ie. Recent grad, currently in school, 1-2 years of experience, etc..)
Network knowledge
CISCO knowledge
Able to work different shifts
Technical Degree or College Degree
Work ethic and high energy
Plusses:
CCNA, CCNP
Ticketing System Exp. (Maximo or Remedy)
Networking Certifications
Day to Day:
Will be at a computer station watching for alarms on the network monitoring system (e-help). The alarms are all color coded and titled like: “Router Fan Down” or “Device Failed Ping” or “Circuit Down.” The alert will then be routed into their ticketing system (MAXIMO). They will be diagnosing and troubleshooting tickets. Remote experience with routers is perfect!
