Job Description:
Required a mainframe professional with 5-8 years of IT experience and 5-8 years of experience in analysis, design, development and testing on mainframe technologies.
3-5 years of thorough hands-on experience in design and development using COBOL, DB2, JCL, CICS and VSAM
Must have excellent analytical, problem solving and documentation skills ? Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experienced in
various phases like Requirements, Analysis, Design, Development and Testing.
Knowledge of tools like Changeman, Expeditor and QMF will be a plus
Strong verbal & written communication skills
Good team player The Senior Mainframe developer will be involved in the following activities.
Gain functional knowledge on Utilities and CIS ? Understand system requirements and high level design ? Create Low level design documents ? Development of code and unit testing ? Perform code reviews ? Coordinate with offshore developers and onsite leads
