Job Description:

The skills needed to be covered by the integration team are Java, Unix, SQL and Murex with some business knowledge. For the risk and finance feeds they will need to develop JavaAdapters that will transform and verify flat files using the UBS in-house LINGUA protocol. LINGUA is a collection of jar files and mapping xmls which define the  format by which information is transferred between systems within the bank. There are up to 10 additional interfaces that do not use Lingua, which will need to be designed and developed. Other tasks which may need to be picked up by the team are environment management, End of Day development and Datamart maintenance.

 

Skills:

Must have:  Java  (Integration with Tibco messaging bus),  UNIX/Linux

Strongly Desirable: Murex, SQL, XML, JMS

 

They are initially looking for 1-2 Architects and 5-6 developers

They would start immediately upon clearance

 

Soft skills include:

Ability to act independently

Good comm skills as user interface is part of the job

Expertise in the Data Mart portion of Murex is a definite plus
