Title: Middleware consultant
Location: Albany NY

Duration: 18 Months contract

Comments: This is a 18 month contract, that could likely be extended

Overview:

Perform monitoring of the Integrated Justice (IJ) Portal infrastructure and applications using monitor software such as Tivoli. Configure infrastructure alerts; investigate/troubleshoot abnormal conditions within the environment; lead other technical groups and application support teams to resolve abnormal events. Track system capacity and performance.

MANDATORY EXPERIENCE

CANDIDATES NOT MEETING ALL OF THE MANDATORY EXPERIENTIAL REQUIREMENTS BELOW WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR THE POSITION

· Eight (8) years of experience working in Information Technology.

· Four (4) years of experience working on UNIX/Linux servers.

· Four (4) years of experience with performance monitoring and/or event alerting software; preference for IBM Tivoli products.

ASSOCIATED SKILL SETS

Candidates must also have one (1) of the preferred skilled sets listed below.

Accordingly, candidates not meeting the supporting experiential specifications below will not be considered for the position.

- IBM Tivoli Monitoring

- IBM WebSphere Middleware (Web Server, Application Server, Portal Server, Process Sever)

- Unix and/or Linux support
