QA Test Lead

 

Location: St. Louis, MO (face-to-face required)

Type: Contract or Contract-to-hire

Rate: $Market

 

-          Client company is about to start a major project with a 3 year time table and are looking for a QA Lead for the project. 

-          The project is in the planning phase, so the Lead will have an opportunity to sit in with the BA's as the project plans are written and provide guidance on the Testing Process and expectations.

-          The ideal candidate will have Management Consulting experience or functioned as a QA Lead in a large matrixed organization.

 Responsibilities:

• Act as the liaison / buffer between the testing group and the Business Analysis / User group
• Write Test Plans
• Present Test Plans to management and be able to estimate delivery schedules
• Manage Test Analysts and the Test Execution team
• Maintain project timelines

 Requirements:

• 5+ years in a QA Lead level position
• Impeccable communication skills (written and oral)
• Knowledge of Waterfall / Agile a major plus
• Experience with Quality Center a major plus
• Strong Automated and Manual Testing skills
