SAP Payroll Lead Consultant  

Skill Level: Senior/Lead (10+ years of SAP HCM experience)

Location: Jackson, MS

Duration: 2 Years

Requires:

  1. Minimum of 10 years required - > HCM Payroll module implementation experience
  2. Experience must be within the past 3 years -> Served in the lead role for the implementation of SAP Payroll modules

Details:

The SAP HCM Payroll Leader will manage all payroll related work-streams and must demonstrate an understanding of a functional subset of the HR business processes to be implemented - Benefits, Personnel Administration and Development, Organizational Management, Personnel Time Management, Travel Management, Enterprise Portal ESS, MSS

The position will be involved in the planning, design, testing, and release of SAP software. As the lead you will be responsible for reviewing functional specifications, designing solutions, estimating hours required for Payroll Configuration and Development items. Strong understanding and knowledge of SAP technologies, SAP ASAP Implementation methodology and project planning and management are mandatory and not to be taken lightly. Knowledge in Payroll to FI integration is highly desired.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

  1. The candidate will need solid, demonstrated skills with experience in full life cycle engagements and business process design initiatives.
  2. Experience must include multiple full lifecycle implementations, including requirements definition, design, configuration, testing, roll-out and post-implementation support.
  3. Experience leading payroll systems integration, parallel and UAT testing is required.
  4. The candidate must have the ability to build strong working relationships across multiple levels within the organization and with 3rd party implementation partners.

Duties will include but are not limited to managing the following areas and activities:

  1. Planning, design and implementation of RICEFW for HCM Payroll components
  2. Understanding of the technical capabilities of Solution Manager
  3. Planning, design, development, testing and release of custom objects required for the project
  4. Test Problem Report resolution for all HCM Payroll requirements
  5. Functional Specification Review
  6. Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
