Sr. ETL DataStage Developer
Philadelphia, PA (F2F Required)

Desired Skills & Experience:
First and foremost we require individuals with outstanding communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical ideas to non-technical people. Additionally they should also possess as many (depending on
the area of specialism) of the following as possible:
· A first class degree in a computing (or related subject)
· At least 5 years demonstrable Database Development experience
· A track record of building innovative solutions
· Full understanding of the processes of data quality, data cleansing and data transformation
· Full understanding of Extract Transform Load (ETL) concepts and technologies
· Advanced experience SQL Server (Including T-SQL & SSIS/SSRS)
· Extensive knowledge of the following Data Warehousing tools, patterns and processes
previous healthcare experience (preferred)
Experience with IBM InfoSphere, Ascential, Informatica
A minimum of 7 years of experience providing hands-on leadership for complex ETL delivery initiatives for data warehouses and related applications using industry standard toolsets.
* A minimum of 5 years or experience with IBM DataStage version 7.5 or 8.x in a development environment.
* Exposure to other toolsets used to deliver ETL solutions is a plus (Informatica, Abinitio, SAS, Oracle, Teradata, etc.)
· Modeling data by applying dimensional and star schema models
· Fact Tables (including measures, facts and metrics)
· Knowledge of formal database architecture and design
· Ability to interpret written requirements and technical specification documents.
· Ability to code software according to published standards and design guidelines.
