Job Title: Technical Writer
Location: Downers Grove, IL
Duration: 5 months
Rate: $45/hr - all inclusive
Overview:
The role of Technical Writer is responsible for reviewing, assessing gaps and creating high quality documentation deliverables in support .Must have and execute in a structured, organized process (s) to illicit relevant details from the client and technical team to quickly identify the most efficient path to completing project document deliverables aligned with client expectations.
Requirements:
Must have 3-5 years of Applications development/SLDC technology projects experience writing, editing, maintaining, researching & publishing high-quality documentation and online content, and ensure material is accessible and available to users including:
• Lead sessions for the purpose of preparing accurate and detailed technical design specifications documents and user interface guides for a specific business function or application.
• Maintain records and files of work and revisions.
• Distilling crisp, clear and concise executive summaries and presentations from highly technical concepts and dense work artifacts.
• Review published materials and recommend revisions or changes in scope, format, content, and methods of reproduction and binding.
• This resource will also develop Plan Test Materials; create/update User Support Material and any other work that falls within the scope of supporting the Clinical Data Integration
(CDI) Team Projects
• Create/update User Support Material
• Create / Update Wireframe Design
• Excellent communication skills
• Local to Chicago area or willing to relocate for duration of the project
• Previous documentation experience on data management projects a Plus.
