Title: QA Tester with Mobile Testing

Location: Redmond, WA

Length: 16 Months+

 

Essential Functions:

• Developing and executing test cases

• Testing on mobile devices, websites and emulators

• Create and provide inputs for test plan creation

•Identifying, documenting and verifying software defects

•Interacting closely with development teams to identify, isolate, and fix software defects

•Participate in story planning/requirements workshops

•Communicating test status to project teams and management

•Performing peer test case reviews

•Providing post-deployment support

•Providing feedback on mobile features and usage

 

Experience & Qualifications:

 

* 4-5 years of software testing experience

* 1-2 years of experience testing mobile devices/platform

* Experience testing Web Services

* Experience with SQL

* Clear and concise oral and written communication skills.

* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

* Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

* Experience working well within teams is a must.

* Experience with Android and iPhone technologies

 

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

 

*Experience leading test effort on large project

*Experience developing, testing, or modifying Android and Apple devices

*Experience with JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5/CSS3

*Familiarity with SOAP UI

*Familiarity with mobile automation and performance testing tools

*Familiar with general testing  principles and concepts

*Familiarity with Agile-scrum methodology
