The Senior JEE Designer/Developer is competent to work on complex projects and applies an in-depth knowledge of engineering/automation concepts, practices and procedures. The Senior JEE Designer/Developer provides technical expertise in design and development of the application components. This technical resource is responsible for the design and development of components of a complex JEE application for a large web application hosted on a UNIX platform. This position requires that the candidate must be able perform analysis and work interactively with customers.
REQUIRED: (MINIMUM)
• Must have at least 7 years of I/T experience on a variety of platforms and technologies.
• Must have at least 3 years of design experience in object-oriented applications.
• Must have hands-on experience with design patterns (e.g. Façade, Singleton, etc…)
• Must have 2 of 3 technologies:
o WebSphere Portal/JSF or WebLogic Portal / JSF
o WebSphere Process Server/ WebSphere Integration Server
o WebSphere Application Server/EJB or WebLogic Application Server/EJB
• Must be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Must be able to mentor other team members both onshore and offshore.
• Must have strong Java foundation.
• Must have prior hands-on experience implementing JEE components (EJB, JMS, Web Services, transaction management).
• Must have prior hands-on XML experience.
• Must have prior hands-on experience using development tools (e.g. Rational, TogetherJ).
• Must have prior hands-on experience integration third party applications.
• Must have prior experience creating UML design artifact (e.g. Activity diagrams, Swimlanes diagram, etc…)
• Must have strong communication skills.
• Must have worked in a matrixed environment and projects that are geographically dispersed.
• Must have experience working in a Unix environment, preferably AIX.
• Must have a “can do” attitude.
• Must have flexibility to do some travel up to 50%.
PREFERRED:
• Ideal candidates will have prior health-care, insurance and/or Medicaid related experience, specifically claims processing and adjudication.
• Prior experience using BPEL.
• Prior product development experience.
• Prior hands-on experience in application integration using an Enterprise Service Bus (ESB).
• Prior experience using an object oriented development methodology (e.g. RUP, Agile).
• Prior experience using JMS.

Like for the candidate to have a development background in Java or C# (2-4 years) if possible.
Will be building test cases and testing new product rollout along side of the developers on the team.
A RTP, NC company that develops green energy technology is looking for a Software Test Engineer.
This individual will be part of a fast-paced Agile development team engaged in building integration APIs.
In this role he/she will develop and conduct manual and automated tests, as well as participate in conducting root cause analysis, debug, defect tracking and documentation.
Requirement:
· BS Software Engineering, Mathematics or Computer Science
· 5+ years as a software QA Engineer for systems software infrastructure, databases and web components in product development (systems level testing)
· Web services testing experience (expertise with SOAP UI is desirable)
· Database knowledge with Oracle and/or SQL
· Development background in Java or C#

Locals/Drivable are considered first but out of state candidates are okay as long as they can come for inperson interview.
Requirements:
- 5+ years and very strong in asp.net using vb.net, asp.net and sql server
- 2+ years analysis and design experience
- 2+ years java script (more than just control basic control validation)
- experience working with reporting services a plus
- experience working with AJAX a plus
- must have good communication skills
- must have good time management skills – deadline driven
- willing to do support or new development
- strong coder that needs little guidance to get up to speed in a new environment
- works well alone or in a group
- willing to work in any technology (vs.net, classic asp, reporting services, vb6, javascript, etc..) we give them and be able to switch back and forth easily. We do all new projects in VS.2008 with ASP.net using VB.net but still maintain and enhance older system in older technologies.
The candidates will need to take Prove It test on VB.net, Asp.net & SQL Server 2005 (We have test package with us)
They really want someone with strong VB.Net, ASP.Net and SQL. It requires online Prove. It tests in those 3 areas (the SQL one is SQL 2005 for Developers). We don’t need someone to make 100% on each test but strong scores would be good, even 75% and above. Some of the feedback on past interviews has been – not enough recent VB.Net, and not enough front end development in ASP.Net. We’ve had several people interview.
