Requirements:

 

Ø  Must have 5-7 Windows Server administration (Windows 2003/2008/2008R2)experience inclusive of loading the OS, applying patches, upgrades, clustering and some assisting in deploying some SQL instances

Ø  Performs day-to-day system administration of the following Windows Server environments:

Ø  Windows Server 2008 Standard/Enterprise

Ø  Windows 2007 SharePoint

Ø  Windows 2005 SQL Server

Ø  Must have Powershell & MS SERVER CLUSTERING experience

Ø  Must have deployed & managaged server virtualization technology

Ø  Performs software and hardware installations following established policies and guidelines.

Ø  Troubleshoots and resolves hardware/Windows Server Operating system issues.

Ø  Manages projects within deadlines and provides weekly project status reports to management.

Ø  Analyzes performance of the environment and provide recommendations for improvement

Ø  Must be able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.

Ø  Must have excellent interpersonal skills and be strong and effective communicator

Overview:

We are looking for a Manager with prior experience managing Payer healthcare operational and technology projects. Candidates must demonstrate working knowledge of best practice business process improvement techniques, software engineering concepts (requirements management, development methodologies, design, testing and documentation), project management methodologies and an understanding of how technology applies to and enables payer business concepts.

 

Duties:

 

Ø  Independently manage large, strategic engagements

Ø  Understand the underlying technologies being used on a project to be able to direct how to design, develop, test, and implement a technical development project

Ø  Quickly respond to client requests for immediate issues while also being able to drive projects to completion

Ø  Analyze client's specific request and determine the underlying problem and recommend proper solutions

Ø  Oversee the overall project, with ultimate responsibility for success or failure of the engagement, specifically focused on ensuring overall client satisfaction and quality of delivery and profitability of the engagement.

Ø  Conduct and document interim client satisfaction reviews with client sponsor and project manager

Ø  Review project deliverables for completeness and appropriateness

Ø  Review Risks and Risk Action Plan on a regular basis

 

Requirements:

 

Ø  Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 8 plus year's related experience

Ø  Ability to analyze complex needs and requirements, disparate constituents and organize into a well framed project.

Ø  Must be proactive, self-motivated, and able to work well under pressure while managing multiple competing projects and priorities.

Ø  Experience with Claims processing & Adjudication systems

Ø  Working knowledge with ETL  tools such as AbInitio, Informatica and / or DataStage

Ø  Working knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools such as Cognos and Business Objects

Ø  Prior experience in Data warehousing

Ø  Excellent written and verbal communication.

-          Expertise in Microsoft operating systems (Win XP & Win 7)

-          Proficient with the MS Office suite including Outlook 2007– specifically with Excel, and the financial markets related addins (Bloomberg, Reuters, Thompson One, Factset, Xtapi etc) as well as experience with VBA (knowledge of other scripting languages preferable as well, VBS, Powershell, Perl, etc)

Work Expectations/Duties

 

Ø  Hands on coding and design using Java technologies

Ø  Able to design and implement software systems using Java technologies

Ø  Day to day coordination with an offshore team.

Ø  Prioritize work for the team.

Ø  Collect updates and status of tasks on a daily basis

Ø  Resolve blocking issues and technical clarifications

Ø  Guide and mentor the offshore resources as required

Ø  Provide clarifications on a daily basis

Ø  Work with offshore development and QA teams.

Ø  Day to day coordination with clients.

Ø  Validate requirements, scope and clarifications with the client
