Our client is implementing a new product.  This a technically challenging environment and the skills below are a must.  
Excellent communication skills and experience are another must as there is significant interaction with developers and users.

Strong experience in the following required:
Extensive Database experience using SQL Server 2008.
Highly proficient in T-SQL including writing queries, stored procedures, functions and triggers.
Experience in Performance Tuning,
Installation and Maintenance of SQL Servers,
Backup/Recovery Strategy, and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of SQL Server and Windows monitoring tools, (Profiler, Performance Monitor).
Knowledge of the complete software development life cycle (SDLC).
Security setup: database, active directory and windows level

Good to have:
SOX compliance experience

Job Details:

- Responsible for supporting VMware, specifically ESX vSphere 4 to monitor cluster performance, optimize the server environment and diagnose / resolve production issues for the Infrastructure Delivery and Operations (IDO) team. 
- Communication and customer service skills are essential as the VMware Administrator will be collaborating with business units and other senior-level technical support teams to design, develop, implement and support hypervisor based solutions. 
- This position requires a high degree of teamwork.

• Experience troubleshooting DRS Cluster errors with shares, pools, and limits.
• Experience troubleshooting HA Cluster errors with slot calculations, admission control, and host monitoring.

Summary

This position focuses on software configuration and change management issues associated with product releases. This includes systems and release planning, estimation, execution, implementation and ongoing support. This individual works closely with the development and SQA teams to define and implement procedures for software version control and release throughout the product life cycle. The individual is responsible for the build of all software modules; support visual SourceSafe, and facilities change and product configuration management, including code version control and change reporting. This individual must understand and further develop applied concepts and processes as it relates to the software development life cycle. In support of the mission of satisfying all customers' requests, this position is responsible for ensuring the successful implementation of all IT deliverables through a process of analysis, testing and evaluation IT initiatives and issues.
