Consultant Role/Responsibilities or Tasks on Project:
The ERP team within HPES Finance and General Government Applications Group (FG3) is currently looking to hire developers to participate in the upgrade of the client PeopleSoft application from 9.0 to 9.2 version. In addition to the PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade, there will be additional PeopleSoft modules such as Human Capital Management, eBenefits and ePerformance that will be included as part of the upgrade project.
Job Description:
- Participate in the design, development and implementation of the PeopleSoft 9.2 upgrade.
- Candidate will during the course of the engagement perform full life cycle software design, development, architecture, testing, implementation and support of enterprise class business applications and reports.
- Work effectively as part of a geographically distributed enterprise development team in an office environment with moderate to little supervision.
- Possess attention to detail and ensure that all delivered artifacts are of high quality, and meet the business needs and objectives.
- A successful candidate will consistently design and develop maintainable business applications and reports.
Skills Required (provide specific details around tools, client environment, certifications needed, etc.): MUST HAVE
- Must have worked on PeopleSoft HCM 9.x within the last year
- Must have a minimum of 5 years technical experience in HRMS/HCM
- Must have minimum of 5 years development life-cycle experience with People-Tools 8.4x or higher including: People-Code, SQR, Crystal and Application Engine (desirable)
- Must have minimum of two PeopleSoft Upgrade Implementation experience; at least one must be on HCM 9.x
- Must have HRMS/HCM Functional experience including HR, Payroll and Benefits (desirable)
- PeopleSoft Production support is desirable
- e-Benefits and e-Performance module experiences is strongly desirable
Bachelor's Degree or Master's degree in a Computer Science, Information Systems or related field
Experience working for a Consulting Services organization
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a time critical environment
- Must excel in an agile / iterative development environment
Must be able to pass a background/drug test.
