Role : Senior BI Developer Consultant
Location : Virginia Beach, VA
Duration : 6-12 months
Major Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Ø Business Information Developer Consultant
Ø Advanced sql experience and knowledge.
Ø SSRS – moderate to advanced.
Ø Any Informatica.
Ø Excellent communication skills (able to and consistently send comprehensive emails).
Ø Undertakes complex assignments requiring additional specialized technical knowledge.
Ø Develops very complex and varied strategic report applications from a Data Warehouse.
Ø Establishes and communicates common goal and direction for team
Ø Establishes and maintains advanced knowledge of data warehouse database design, data definitions, system capabilities, and data integrity issues.
Ø Acts as a source of direction, training and guidance for less experienced staff.
Ø Monitors project schedules and costs for own and other projects.
Ø Develops and supports very complex Data Warehouse-related applications for business areas requiring design and implementation of database tables.
Ø Conducts training on use of applications developed.
Education/Experience:
Ø Requires a BS/BA degree; 6 years experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Skills:
Ø Expert level PC, spreadsheet, and database skills, as well as experience in client standard Business Information tools and programming/query languages is also required.
Ø Ability to communicate effectively with multiple levels within the organization.
Ø This job is focused on spending time thinking about programming and how it would be used to design solutions as compared to the Bus Info Developer Consultant job.
