•    Conduct data modeling sessions with business users and technical staff, which includes conveying complex ideas both verbally and in written form.
•    Conduct technical interviews in the Information Technology environment.

Qualifications:

Such experience should include relational and dimensional modeling.
•    Demonstrated experience in the gathering, assimilation, organization, categorization and analysis of business requirements to create corresponding designs of logical and physical data models is required. Such tasks may include client interviews and/or facilitating Joint Application Development (JAD) sessions.
•    Demonstrated experience in deriving physical data models from a logical data model as well as reverse engineering a physical data model from a physical database is required.
Data Modeler Skills:
•    Ability to conduct data modeling sessions with business users and technical staff, which includes conveying complex ideas both verbally and in written form.
•    Ability to understand database management system administration with regard to performance, configuration and de normalization.
•     In addition to standard data modeling duties, ability to lead effort to ensure system test data is loaded accurately and in timely manner.

• Assist with Client's day to day operational support and network administration.

 

• Provide awareness of high profile notifications (including but not limited to EOS and EOL, software changes, published software problems etc) supplied by technology vendors

• Review End of Support reporting obtained from CNC; SNIA or others.  Perform Risk Analysis and communicate finding to Client and Service Delivery.

• Engage with other regional Engineers dedicated to Client, obtaining awareness of high profile projects, faults and resolutions that could benefit Client within their region.

• Drive the End of Life process working closely with Client stakeholders and Service Delivery Managers providing Risk assessment and governance.

• Engage with Cisco NOS where present ensuring awareness of high profile faults and current progress undertaken by NOS.
