Web Designer/Developer to support local public service agency. In addition to development departmental applications, technical support will be required.

Required expertise to include:
-Experience developing .NET web-based applications
-Expertise with ASP.NET, WPF, HTML, CSS, XAML and Adobe Photoshop
-IIS web site administration
-Web Services (in support of partner agency's interfaces)
-Team Development using Visual SourceSafe

Desirable Skills:
-Cold Fusion support
-Data Transport Protocol expertise (SFTP, XML, NIEM)
-MS SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS)

The Client is seeking a consultant for 3-6 months to support NET development, SQL database creation and updating via scripting, SQL Reporting services, and SharePoint. Required skills include:

·         A minimum of five years' experience in a production development environment

·         Experience in ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Programming, and MS Visual Studio

·         Knowledge of .NET application architecture and security

·         Knowledge of SQL database creation and maintenance as well as expertise in using stored procedures and scripts.

·         Ability to document deliverables — both developer and end user documents

·         Ability to design and create reports using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services

·         Experience with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server Standard or Enterprise 2007 and above

·         SharePoint management via the browser — creating sites, managing permissions, document libraries, custom lists

·         SharePoint customizations via SP Designer 2007 and 2010 — Creating data views, custom forms and pages, master pages, workflows

·         Experience with website development

·         Knowledge of MS Access and MS Excel

Understanding of the following is desirable:

·        Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) or Enterprise Asset Management such as IBM Maximo CMMS/EAM

·        SharePoint customizations via Visual Studio 2005 and 2010 — For VS 2005 — using the SP Object Model to update SP lists, retrieve SP data For VS 2010 — using the SP Object Model and SP

This roll is a .NET Developer ,This role is for 3+ months.  Interview F2F.  Client is looking for someone with at least .NET Framework 3.5 but wants 4.0.  Also someone with extensive experience in MVC version 2, but they are working in version 3 so that is even better.  Must have JQuery experience.  They are actively interviewing.

.NET Developer

The candidate will need to hit the ground running on a small team with short deadlines to deliver a mission-critical, statewide, intranet application using ASP.NET MVC 3 with Razor and C#. The candidate engages with internal customers to understand or discover business rules and create comprehensive designs that satisfy complex business needs.

5+ years ASP.NET & C# in a Visual Studio environment
2+ years JavaScript & jQuery
1+ year ASP.NET MVC, including experience with Razor syntax
Strong OO programming and SDLC experience
Experience with multi-tiered architecture
Ability to quickly understand and work with existing code and emulate its structure for changes
Experience working on structured projects in a team environment: TFS, source control, multi-project solutions, etc.
Attention to detail
Strong written and spoken English skills
Self-directed team player
