Technical/Functional Skills:
Travelport is in search of a Project Manager heavily experienced in managing software development for critical and highly visible products. This individual will use business, analytical, team leadership and collaboration skills and experience to manage the implementation of Oracle's Universal Customer Master (UCM) product for Master Data Management (MDM) at Travelport. Implementation of this new project will be done utilizing 3rd party systems integrators as well as Travelport resources. This project manager will be expected to liaise with all SIs to ensure that we use both the SI and Travelport resources in the most effective manner to deliver this application and make certain Travelport resources will have the skills needed to successfully support it.
· Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. BS/MS in Engineering, IT, or Computer Science preferred
· Minimum 5 years direct work experience in a project management capacity, including all aspects of process development and execution.
· Strong applied knowledge and expertise in the use of project management and SDLC methodologies and tools (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, Iterative)
· Project Management certification preferred
· Experience in Oracle's UCM software including UCM, EDQ, Hyperion DRM, OBIEE, and PIP Integration preferred
· Demonstrated experience in personnel management.
· Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments.
· Ability to defuse tension among project team, should it arise.
· Ability to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity.
· Proven ability to quickly earn the trust of sponsors and key stakeholders, mobilize and motivate teams, set direction and approach and deliver tough messages with grace.
· Notable experience with stakeholder management.
· Exceptional negotiation, leadership, facilitation and conflict management skills.
· Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communications skills

Roles & Responsibilities:
· This role will be responsible for,
· Direct and manage project from beginning to end.
· Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
· Track project milestones and deliverables
· Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
· Help facilitate and communicate risk analysis for projects
· Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path
· Document and support project success criteria and ensure involved parties throughout project life cycle are fully aware of them.
· Effectively communicate project expectations to team members, contractors, and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
· Work closely with management, development team, vendor and stakeholders to ensure coordination of overall software product delivery
· Support management activities including project estimating, budgeting, resource allocation and status reporting.
· Organize, conduct, and attend meetings with project team
Generic Managerial Skills:
· (Required) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required
