We are looking for someone with less facilities engineering and more data center build project management
This position needs to have a good working knowledge of data build process and project management for the relocation of IT infrastructure assets and people
1. 10+ years of total exp.
2. Must have exp. with Network design and architecture
3. Must have exp. in designing datacenter and as an architect.
4. Must have exp. with Power cooling/facility design/UPS
5. Some exp. with MS Exchange and Active Directory is desired
Tasks to be performed :
1) Develop Project Plans for all IS activities related to the new building
2) Develop, update and maintain data center and IT infrastructure design documentation for new building
3) Develop video conferencing construction drawings for new building and Dalhart conference rooms
4) Track and manager budget related to IT infrastructure for new building
5) Develop video conferencing requirements document for workstations,laptops and iPads
6) Show existing with pros and cons of current environment
7) Show future design pros and cons per proposed vendor
8) Submit weekly status reports
9) Develop pros and cons comparison chart for cabling RFP
