Role Criteria:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent and 7+ years of experience in building database-driven web applications using the latest standards-based approaches
Proficiency with front-end scripting including: HTML, JavaScript, CSS and popular JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, jQuery, YUI, Prototype etc. (5+ years of experience)
Experience with developing and deploying Python/Ruby implementation of core algorithms with a solid understanding of coding best-practices and development frameworks (2+ years of experience)
Familiar with user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design web sites with complex information and functionality
Understanding of responsive design techniques and knowledge of what is required to develop highly performance web applications and great user interface
Mastery of cross-browser, cross-platform markup and layout. Ability to validate and test code across multiple browsers
Strong experience with common web standards and best practices
Experience interacting with Python/Ruby based back-end services and integrating HTML with server side code
Expertise with the server side environment using Unix/Linux, Apache, MySQL, Python/Ruby. Windows Server environment knowledge is a plus
Familiarity with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Dreamweaver is a plus
Work with the team to manage, optimize and customize multiple web applications
Web development experience must be relevant to Leapfrog 2.0
Build web applications powered by DB or apps delivering backend analytical content
Resume needs to demonstrate that they've held a job for an extended period of time
Strong communication skills and ability to clearly articulate answers during the interview
