Description:

Very strong ETL Informatica development skills with at least 3 years experience in the BI/DW space
Very strong SQL and data analysis capabilities
Expertise in at least one database platform (Oracle, Teradata)
Ability to design & develop ETL solutions based on requirements
Must have Strong Oral & Written Communication skills (client facing role)!
Working knowledge of Teradata and Teradata utilities a strong plus but less important than very strong Informatica and SQL knowledge

Required: 10 years of relational database design, implementation and/or data load experience on large database implementations with at least 4 years of lead level experience on Teradata systems in at least 2 functional roles (ETL developer, data architect, modeler, BI/SQL report coding) with the ability to generate complex DDL, stored procedures and tune complex SQL. At least 5 years of Teradata in the last 8 years (at least 4 Teradata V2R5 certifications, V2R5 master preferred, leading-edge implementations, 5+ years of hands-on experience coding SQL/DDL, including ETL code and query optimization). High proficiency using Teradata tools (Visual Explain, DBQL, ANSI SQL, Multiload, SQL Assistant, PMON and Teradata Administrator), proficiency with data modeling tools (Erwin preferred). Data profiling experience with validating data quality and business rules.
