Responsibilities:

* Must Have Excellent Communication Skills

* Experience w/both Manual and Automated Testing

* Must have experience Testing w/in a .Net Environment

*Work closely with cross functional team members throughout the Software Development Life Cycle(SDLC).

*Develop detailed test cases, test plans and test strategies accordingly to the requirements.

*Work closely with software developers to ensure features/products achieve desired level of quality. Participate in design and code reviews. Influence the inclusion of testability during design and development phases.

*Actively participate in establishing project plans, estimating work and monitoring progress against milestones.

*Root Cause Analysis of defects.

*Contribute to process improvements and refinement of QA practices.

 

Requirements:

*Experience developing, maintaining and executing manual/automated tests.

*Familiarity with QA tools and techniques, testing frameworks, bug tracking systems, test design and execution.

*Working knowledge of some or all of the following quality assurance methods: unit, integration, regression, user interface automated testing.

URGENT NEED for a Website administrator/developer for a Macon, Georgia client.

This is an open-ended project …

 

Technical requirements will be for moving a hosted website running Ruby on Rails to their own server.  

        3+ years experience with Ruby on Rails - in "virtualized" environments

PwPower i administrator experience preferred - at minimum the person should have strong background on various technical platforms (unix, windows, as400)

strStrong technical skills to administer the website - troubleshooting, backup, recovery, etc. as well as having deployment and development background with RoR.

 

Good communication skills needed since this will be a lead role for managing the technical details around the migration of the website 

 

The customer has both a new Power i system they just purchased and are already running one of their two websites on their iSeries.  The one that is outsourced, they would like to migrate it over to their internal iSeries.

 

I'd like to present these guys with a couple options:

(1) Infrastructure Services - assessment and implementation assistance to migrate the website - accompanied by TRAINING for their technical staff 

(2) RTS 

(3) Staff augmentation
