Job Details:

Need senior person with very good comm. Skills and a person who is comfortable enough to interact with client.

 

Key Requirements

 

·         Strong Java/J2EE background (Servlets, JSP, JSTL, JDBC, JMS, SOAP, Web Services)

·         Extensive experience using web framework like Spring or Struts.

·         Experience in Ant/Maven, Log4J, JUnit, Weblogic Application Server and Eclipse.

·         Proven knowledge of ActionScript 3.0 and experience in application development using the Adobe Flex frameworks .i.e., Cairngorm,  PureMVC,SWIZ etc.

·         Good knowledge in BlazeDS and\or Granite DS and Flex Builder 3.

·         Experience with cloud computing (Amazon and other cloud computing tools) is highly preferred.

·         Good knowledge in HttpServices, Remoting and Webservices .

·         Knowledge of Optimization and Modularization of Flex Application.

·         Development of Custom Components in Flex.

·         Experience with AJAX, JSON and Web 2.0 technologie

·         Competency in JavaScript and HTML. (Integration of Flex with JavaScript i.e., External Interface API etc.)

·         Experience working on portals, dashboards and large scale intranet applications

·         Ability to work well with others and multitask

 

Major Pluses

 

·         Experience in Object Oriented Javascript, XML, AJAX.

·         Experience of Spring Framework

 

Number of Years of Experience by Technology area

 

·         Flex frameworks - At least 3 Years

Education and Experience: • College degree: B.S. in a computer-related field is preferred, B.A. (with applicable experience) may be acceptable • 3+ years of solid software testing background through extended quality assurance experience • Ability to work in both a formal Waterfall SDLC environment, as well as an Agile environment. • Application/technology knowledge in several areas including Web Technology, Oracle, SQL, batch processing, Quality Center Skills and Knowledge: • Solid understanding of the software development process • Ability to multi-task, manage time and priorities, and meet scheduled deadlines • Strong written and verbal communications skills • Team player with a talent for problem solving and troubleshooting • High level of attention to detail • Knowledge of SQL and experience with various vendor database products

 

Expected Responsibilities:       • Assist in ensuring quality standards are met and adhered to by using their knowledge and quality assurance methods, tools and techniques. • Participate in the definition, implementation and continuous improvement of policies, process and procedures necessary in delivering a consistent and reliable product to business and customer. • Participate in creating test plan, data, procedures and component based manual scripts based on business function for one or more medium sized projects or multiple small projects • Participate in functional requirement and code reviews as applicable • Accountable for ensuring test coverage and mapping of requirements to tests • Ensure tests are self-contained, well documented, maintainable and reusable • Participate in test data analysis and creates/mines test data for multiple or complex projects • Execute systems, functional and end to end test scenarios and cases • Participate in risk based analysis for test execution • Ensure test environment reflects requirements for test execution • Write and reproduce accurate software problem reports including steps to reproduce the defect and work with developer and analyst to resolve the defect • Analyzes and reports overall test status and results of test case execution • Review test results, applies analytical skills to identify when issues need to be escalated and identifies associated risk and/or impact • Define tests to be added to a regression/automation suite • May participate in production validation these teams
