Data Modeler with Cognos and Data Archiving

12+ months

 

I am seeking a contract resource with the following technical skillset:

• Advanced knowledge of SQL and complex queries
• Data Modeling
• PL/SQL
• Report Development using Cognos
• Data Extracting / Loading
• Knowledge of Relational, Hierarchical, and flat file data structures
• Ability to create a data model based upon loose requirements
• Ability to analyze information and formulate conclusions and recommendations
• Knowledge of documentation standards
• Ability to estimate time and resources required to execute a request
• Skill in troubleshooting technical problems
• Skill in communicating orally and in writing
• Knowledge of IBM Optim Data Archiving is a plus

 

This will be a long term contract, estimated for a duration of about one year.  I want to ensure that all candidates have a strong work ethic and an attention to detail.  It is imperative that results are delivered without constant supervision and meet or exceed our quality standards.  The candidate must have the ability to fit in with the team from a personality and work perspective.
