Experiences : 9 yrs

Job Description :

• Good experience in AIX server administration Basic & Intermediate level version 5.3 & 6.1.

• Exposure in Monitoring hardware and OS using tools topas, nmon, SAR & Vmstat

• User administrations and security management (OS hardening)

• LUN management & File system management like LVM administration and backup & restore Volume groups

• Exposure to scripting

• Knowledge/exposure to cluster HACMP/PowerHA and GPFS cluster.

• Exposure/working knowledge in NIM & VIO server implementation and management.

• Exposure to Power server hardware management.

• Exposure in Power hypervisor(virtualization)

• Experience in incident/vendor management

• Understanding in ITIL process

• Exposure/experience to other Unix flavor like linux

• Understanding about Data center technologies like virtualization, storage, backup tools and network.

• Understanding the backup tools & SAN technologies.

Skills Needed

Minimum of 5 years Microsoft 2.0 and 3.0 development experience.

Minimum of 1 year Microsoft 4.0 development experience

Minimum 5 years C# development experience in MS Visual Studio 2003 or higher

Minimum 4 years experience in developing Microsoft .NET WCF Web Services

Minimum 2 years experience developing/designing XML, XML schemas and XSLT in MS Visual Studio 2003 or higher

Position: Sr. Programmer - .NET

Job Description:

The purpose of this request is to augment the technical staff of the Information Technology Office (ITO) to design and develop the browser based .NET / SQL Server Applications, such as Guardianship Monitoring Systems (GMS), Electronic Filing System (EFM), JEFIS etc.

A Senior Level programmer with 8 years .NET experience is needed with experience in Front End design/UI and Back End development with connections to SQL.

Responsibilities:

Programmer is responsible for analysis, design, coding, component & assembly testing of all application code owned by the Application Team. Programmers typically are involved in maintenance (including production support), enhancement & development work.

Contract staff will work at the direction of ITO staff and will be required to contribute in all phases of project development. This includes working with users, documenting system requirements, prototypes, design, develop and implement the Web application within the ITO RUP protocols and procedures. Detailed work may include documenting business models, use case models, activity diagrams, generating coding specifications, perform coding tasks, unit test all modules and implementation of the system.

Selected staff will deliver completed system documentation and diagrams per the ITO Rational Software protocols and complete program components (.NET, ASP, VB, WPF, WCF, JQuery, HTML, SQL Server, SSRS, SSIS) as assigned. All components must be clearly documented. They must also create and maintain technical architectural diagrams, test plans and lead staff. Provide status reports to the project manager or lead. Complete system requirements documentation and estimates for projects and or tasks.
