Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum of 5-7 years proven experience in Microsoft SQL Server Database Administration (MS SQL Server 2000 / 2005 / 2008 / 2012, DTS, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, MDX) best practices and the application of policies and procedures through database administration experience and/or certification, with practical experience in monitoring and tuning a database to provide a high availability service as well as in managing the internal and external MS SQL database security.

• Relational database administration skills (security including adding/delete/modify user accounts, basic networking, SQL, schema creation/manipulation, performance tuning, server hardware, logging, monitoring, policy creation and enforcement, Windows Server 2003 and 2008)

• OLAP database skills (security including adding/delete/modify user accounts

• MDX, performance tuning, good understanding of cube design so as to look into issues when users submits issues)

• Integration Services or another enterprise ETL tool (open and troubleshoot packages, administer security, run packages, performance troubleshooting, file system and FTP concepts)

• Strong analytic skills with a knowledge of analysis and design techniques for BI Databases, SQL Server 2000/2005/2008/2012, Server Applications, and Reporting Systems

• Superior organizational skills, with a disciplined approach to implementation, support and documentation.

• Self motivated and highly professional with ability to take on responsibility, work independently and deliver commitments under pressure and tight deadlines.

• Excellent client (internal & external) communication and liaison skills.

• Ability to prepare written proposals and deliver presentations

• Knowledge of project management.
