T&E- Yes
Skills/Experience – Essbase Lead - 5 year Essbase resource with experience building cubes (Cognos cubes will be the design input). Architecture already in place by customer. Some OBIEE is a plus

· Review recent (& simulated) Demantra statistical forecasts looking for anomalies and/or undesirable outputs

· Review gathered/specific problematic forecasts provided by users over last months

· Review MAPE/BIAS reports by modality looking for areas of improvement for statistical forecast

· Propose solutions; test multiple approaches; work with technical VCP team to implement

· Review variable types of forecasts (@ item level; @ group level, forecasts for PFS items, etc.)

· Be able to engage directly with business users of Demantra

· Familiarity S&OP landscape (PSI codes, PSI groups, modalities, etc.)

· Expertise in Demantra tuning; this includes expert command with such concepts as Nodal Tuning, Causal Factors, Bayesian Modeling, Double Exponential Smoothing; forecast orders; forecast trees, etc.

· Experience tuning Demantra in multiple businesses and environments

· Demantra-wide expertise to discuss and troubleshoot advanced Demantra wide issues

Nature of Typical Engagement

· ~2 contiguous weeks in Waukesha, WI

· Work on GEHC laptop with direct connectivity to test instance of Demantra

· Talk with end users regarding issues with forecast output

· Iterative process of: problem à adjust Demantra à run engine à monitor adjusted output à possibly readjust

· Work directly with VCP technical team member

Position Overview/Responsibilities:

Senior Systems Analyst - Must possess technical experience analyzing and designing computer systems. Possesses knowledge of current storage and retrieval methods and demonstrated ability to formulate and develop specifications and requirements for computer programmers to use in coding, testing, and debugging computer programs. Provides technical direction for personnel performing system and software development tasks including the review of products for quality. Coordinates with Delivery Manager to ensure problem solution and customer satisfaction. Makes recommendations for approval of major computer system installations. Prepare milestone status reports and presentations on system concepts. Provides daily supervision to supporting analysts and technicians as needed to support PACER ACM Business Plan rewrite effort.

DELIVERABLES:

Skillsets Required:

· A bachelor's degree in computer science, or a related field OR commensurate experience is required. The candidates must have a minimum of 8 years IT experience with the following technologies and tasks: UML (Use Case, Activity, State Chart, and Class Diagram), ERD and database normalization options. Experience using Requisite Pro, RUP, and Scrum.

· 3-5 years of experience as a Techno/Functional analyst working with PeopleSoft systems with an in-depth knowledge of PS Financial modules.

· 3-5 years of experience with PeopleSoft development technologies –( PeopleCode, Application Designer, Component Interface, Application Engine , SQR, Integration Broker and XML Publisher ) used to technically design, develop and test interfaces and conversions modifications.

· Experience interacting with business users, ability to collect requirements, create business requirements documents and functional specification documents for system improvements

· Experience working closely with technical teams to translate functional specifications into technical solutions

· Experience in writing SQL queries, data analysis and validation

· Experience and knowledge of integration points to and from PeopleSoft Fin system
