Job description:
SAP PS Consultant
Location: Alpharetta
Duration: 6 months +

Business skills:
High level of understanding: various business processes in PS area (customer driven projects, internal R&D or Marketing projects, and Consulting Business), and their integration with other SAP modules (e.g. SD, CS, PP, MM/WM, FICO, HR), and ability to understand complexities. Be able to propose and implement the functionality improvement options. General understanding of business scenarios based on CCM (Complete Contract Method) and PoC (Percentage of Completion) project accounting methods and their integration with various logistics process e.g. SFS ( Sales from stock), PTO ( purchase to Order), PTO3 ( Purchase to Order 3rd party), MTO ( Make to Order). Understanding of 4 major parts of SynergyPLUS – Siemens proprietary project planning and implementation functionality used in Spiridon North America: Bill of Material (BOM), Product List, Calculation and Product Requirement List.
Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, training, and presentation skills, including any media type (face-to-face, teleconference, internet, etc.)
Ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written English language skills.
Production issue resolution experience (minimum 2 year experience)
Project management experience

Technical skills:
Hands-on experience and technical proficiency in implementation, design and configuration of major functionalities in SAP PS: e.g. Assembly processing, material requirement integration,project delivies, Claims, workforce planning , milestone related billing, resource related billing, CATS integration, revenue and cost planning, PS/CO reporting. Knowledge of SynergyPLUS configuration in the following areas: BOM, Product List, Calculation, Product Requirement List.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in PS as functional consultant – requirements definition, customizing, developing functional and technical specifications, testing, and end-user training including on-site support.
Ability to work with and understand ABAP code, LSMW, SmartForms, Dialog Program, ALE and Workflow. Basic de-bugging skills.
High level of expertise in the area of SAP PS integration with other modules e.g.FICO, SD, MM/WM, CS, HR.
Excellent ability to understand and troubleshoot complex application issues related to interfaces between SAP and external applications.
Drive the implementation of internal system improvements by analyzing the issue and proposing the solution; ability to produce high quality of functional specifications.
Preferably the consultant has SAP PS certification.

Requirements:
