We are looking for a skilled Software Developer, who can jump into 12 months of new feature development. The services we provide are all client-facing, so a high attention to usability and customer satisfaction is expected. If you want to work closely with a strong team, drive requirements to completion, and be a core member responsible for the development of new software features, then we want to hear from you. We are looking to build upon our 15 years of experience and deliver new features for our industry-leading software platform. To do this, we want a Software Developer who is dedicated, self-motivated, analytical, and takes pride in the fruits of his or her labor. We are looking for a person with senior level software development experience that will get up to speed quickly and work efficiently within our frameworks, procedures and team. Our tech stack relies on Oracle, Java, Tomcat, SWT and Flex at the core; so experience with these technologies is a major plus.
Client is an independent and privately-owned leading provider of services for the emergency medical transport industry and was founded in 1997. Client provides Computer Aided Dispatch, Clinical Charting, and Analytics solutions through a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) delivery model using its patented technology, processes and integrated business services. These integrated business processes are used for Medical Billing and Collections.
Candidate Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Contractor experience
• The candidate must be able to provide documentation to support ability to work in the United States within the federal legal guidelines.
• Minimum of 7 years of software engineering experience using Java.
• Experience with design, development and unit testing.
• OOD proficiency
• Hibernate experience (ORM)
• DB Relational proficiency (DML/DDL)
• Web Services (XML/JSON/HTTP(s)) server and client side experience
• Software refactoring with design patterns experience
Responsibilities Include:
• Follow all phases of the software development cycle: requirements analysis, functional design, technical design, implementation, documentation, software QA, maintenance and support.
• Report to a project lead or manager.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Works closely with a small team in a collaborative environment.
