POSITION SUMMARY : Design, develop and support multiple e-commerce websites using Microsoft technologies.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement .NET applications in a high-volume transaction-oriented web production environment
Liaise with various IT and business departments, both within the US and internationally; collaborate in an international team environment
Apply expert level knowledge of Microsoft tools and technologies; quickly learn and utilize new tools and technologies, and transfer knowledge to team members
Mentor and develop Junior engineers
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 6 years experience in an e-commerce and web environment. – Not a must with E commerce
Minimum of 5 years experience as an engineer.
Strong C#, ASP.Net, WCF, IIS 6.0/7.0, SOA, XML, XSL, skills are required.
MUST POSSESS A STRONG UNDERSTANDING OF TECHNICAL ARCHITECTURE DESIGN
.Net 3.5 and above
Strong:

New addition to .net requirement must haves.
Asp.net wcf .net 3.5 strong .net basics.
Technical will ask a lot of practical questions.
Key question is do they have solid experience with 'Page lifecycle' or 'Page flow' very key technology.
Comms skills and an business side exp is a plus

Position : ETL Informatica Developer
Duration : 6+ Months
Location : NYC
Detail Job Description:
Build and support ETL mapping/workflows using Informatica tool.
Define transformation rules for source to target mappings and develop the software components to support the transformation
Lead the use of ETL tools (Informatica) and development of specialized software to implement the strategy
Interact with Business Intelligence Lead, other staff, and other program technical staff as needed to ensure proposed development strategy and implementation meets programs objectives
Ensure all software developed for migration of production data is developed, controlled, and tested to the same quality level as production software
Facilitate the production release of new functionality and provide support of production issues.
Requirements and General Skills:
Extensive experience with Informatica ETL development and application troubleshooting, workload management, performance tuning. Experience working with high volume transactions is desired.
Extensive experience as a Teradata developer and implementation and usage of tools and utilities such as Fastload, FastExport, Multiload, TPump, Teradata Parallel Transporter (TPT)
Good interpersonal skills, with ability to work across functional lines, and at many levels.
Experience working with Cognos is desired.
Ability to work on assigned tasks independently and execute with minimal direction.
Must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, meet project deadlines, and work under tight timelines.

ETL Tools: Informatica Power Center (8.x and higher), Teradata Load Utilities (BTEQ,Multiload,Fastload,FastExport,Tpump,TPT)
Database: Teradata, Oracle, SQL Server
Scheduler: Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS)
Languages : Teradata SQL, Teradata Stored Procedures, Transact SQL, DOS
Reporting: Cognos
