Position : Test Engineer
Location: Chicago IL
The Test Engineer will be responsible for testing the quality of the web services using Microsoft-based tools. This will include creating the test scripts and ensuring proper test coverage by these tests, defect tracking and timely fixes. The team will be using an Agile development methodology, including Test-Driven Development and Scrum on a Microsoft platform. The team will be using manual and automated testing techniques.
The Test Engineer:
1. Must be very experienced in all aspects of automated software testing including functional, integration, system and regression testing.
2. Must be very familiar with Microsoft platforms including .NET 3.5, C#, SQL, Visual Studio 2010, Team Foundation System 2010, etc.
3. Must have excellent analytical skills and systematic approach to identifying and documenting defects
4. Must be able to quickly review and understand complex requirements and their respective success criteria and develop tests against these criteria.
Must be able to develop and run test scenarios, test cases and test scripts as part of an automated testing environment.
