-Candidates MUST have solid background and understanding in Silverlight and the MVVM pattern- not just an ASP.NET developer with some Silverlight exposure. Strong communication skills are a must. Extensive background with ASP.NET in C# and WCF RIA Services is needed.

 

 

ASP.Net / Silverlight Developer

 

Technical Requirements

At least 5 years of Microsoft C#

At least 5 years ASP.NET (nearly expert level)

At least 2 years Silverlight experience (preferably version 4.0)

Experience with WCF RIA Services (.NET platform)

IIS 7.0 or 7.5

Visual Studio 2010

Experience with Silverlight and RIA Services unit testing

Experience with Silverlight data binding and resources

Experience and understanding of MVVM framework

Extensive SDLC knowledge

In-depth ITIL Infrastructure understanding including CMDB

 

Other Requirements

Ability to work independently

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

Experience writing technical documentation as well as user guides

 

Project work Description

Senior level developer needed for internal, line of business, Silverlight application development project. Team is implementing own Configuration Management Database and developer needs to implement defect fixes as well as enhancements to the system. Also looking for some architectural feedback in unit testing, ORM, data validation and DB schema. The technologies in use are already set, but development of the technology is an ongoing dialog.
