Position : .Net Application Developer

Location: Chicago IL

 

The senior application developer will translate complex functional and non-functional requirements in the design, development, and assembly of components to create a high-performing application.  He will also leverage his 5+ years of experience developing .NET, C# and SQL solutions to refine and optimize the team's solution and mentor less experienced developers.   This person will also have completed multiple projects using an Agile methodology, preferably Scrum and Test-Driven Development.

 

 

 

The person must have the following skills:

1.               Must have deep, hands-on experience with WCF Services using C# as per guidelines

2.               Must be have developed complex applications on .NET 3.5 or later, using C#

3.               Must implement unit testing through his code and use test-driven development to increase the quality of his deliverables

4.               Must be able to create object models  and class diagrams

5.               Must be able to develop business logic, validation and security into the application

6.               Must have deep experience in designing and implementing object-oriented design and programming to increase the reusability of his .NET assemblies

7.               Must be very familiar with and have used Microsoft's 'patterns & practices' to accelerate the development effort.

8.               Must have experience mentoring and refactoring solutions of less experienced team members.

9.               Ability to design, organize and implement module based programming.

10.           Adheres to the project schedule.

11.           Reports task status to the project manager as required by the project methodology.
