Job Description:
BA/BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Systems, Finance or Business
8+ years of experience on Software Testing in Finance and Banking domain
5+ years of experiencing automating financial application using QTP
Expertise in building enterprise wide QTP automation solution architecture
Well versed in creating robust frameworks for financial applications, primarily winforms with third party controls
Should have experience in running automation on virtual machines/environments
Automate existing functional manual regression/smoke test cases using QTP
Build & Execute the smoke/regression test scripts on different environments analyze results and prepare presentable report
Knowledge of SQL highly desirable
Assess and revise (maintain) existing test scripts based upon test results and/or changes in application
Work closely with Manual QA/Development team to understand automation requirements, and provide a strong automation service to various projects
Should have exposure to working in Agile methodology of software development
Knowledge of Financial (Trade and Risk Management) and Investment Banking applications will be an added advantage
Experience in integrating TFS with QTP
Ensure that processes and testing documentation meet total quality management and/or other reliability standards
Very strong troubleshooting, debugging, and analysis skills
Experience with Performance and Load testing tool is a plus
Experience with other automation testing tools like Coded UI, Test Complete is highly appreciated
Ability to work independently as well as part of a coordinated team
Self-motivated, dynamic, organized, and responsible, team player
